Landmarks at IKTA 2010

Hello everyone,
Ikta experienced one of its most successful year as an academy in this last decade.I would like to thank all the students ,the trainers and the parents who have worked hard together to ensure that we achieve what we believed in.Your comittment have made us stronger and our aspirations have attained a new level of aqquiring goals which were even hard to be dreamt of.The events and moments I witnessed as being a part of our academy makes me feel proud and contended to pass on my knowledge to an extremely talented youth that we have.

Some of the major Highlights in 2010 :
  • April 2010 - IKTA's Esha Tiwari, ,Surabhi Arora &Ishee Pardeshi won gold medals at the State Taekwondo Team Trials and represented Maharashtra at the 4th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in Gujrat.
  • May 2010 - Surabhi Arora & Ishee pardeshi won gold medals in thier respective age categories along with master Abhishek Dubey who settled for a Bronze medal at the 4th National Poomsae Taekwondo championship organised by TFI, affiliated to the Indian Olympic Comittee & recg by the Youth & Sports Ministry ,India
  • July 2010 - Ishee pardeshi won a gold medal at the 4th World taekwondo culture Expo in Muju, Korea
  • Ishee Pardeshi won a Gold medal at the 1st Yeongcheon Open International clubs Taekwondo championship in Korea and became the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the International level in taekwondo Poomsae.
  • Ishee Pardeshi was awarded the Best Athletes Award at the Yeongcheon Open ,a WTF sanctioned C'ship.
  • Master Abhishek Dubey won a Silver medal at the 4th World Taekwondo Culture Expo in Muju Korea in Taekwondo Poomsae .
  • October 2010 - Master Abhishek Dubey was selected for the WTF KHU Training Programme for Coaches from India at the Kyung Hee University in S. Korea.

5th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship 2011 - India


The 5th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship is scheduled to take place from 28 to the 31st of January in Chennai, India . Its a proud moment for Indian taekwondo as the esteemed Taekwondo championship is being held in India . The 4 day event would have Poomsae and sparring as medal events. All the best wishes to the entire Indian team for the CW TKD C'ships on behalf of IKTA.
