Landmarks at IKTA 2010

Hello everyone,

Ikta experienced one of its most successful year as an academy in this last decade.I would like to thank all the students ,the trainers and the parents who have worked hard together to ensure that we achieve what we believed in.Your comittment have made us stronger and our aspirations have attained a new level of aqquiring goals which were even hard to be dreamt of.The events and moments I witnessed as being a part of our academy makes me feel proud and contended to pass on my knowledge to an extremely talented youth that we have.

Some of the major Highlights in 2010 :

• April 2010 - IKTA's Esha Tiwari, ,Surabhi Arora &Ishee Pardeshi won gold medals at the State Taekwondo Team Trials and represented Maharashtra at the 4th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in Gujrat.
• May 2010 - Surabhi Arora & Ishee pardeshi won gold medals in thier respective age categories along with master Abhishek Dubey who settled for a Bronze medal at the 4th National Poomsae Taekwondo championship organised by TFI, affiliated to the Indian Olympic Comittee & recg by the Youth & Sports Ministry ,India
• July 2010 - Ishee pardeshi won a gold medal at the 4th World taekwondo culture Expo in Muju, Korea
• Ishee Pardeshi won a Gold medal at the 1st Yeongcheon Open International clubs Taekwondo championship in Korea and became the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the International level in taekwondo Poomsae.
• Ishee Pardeshi was awarded the Best Athletes Award at the Yeongcheon Open ,a WTF sanctioned C'ship.
• Master Abhishek Dubey won a Silver medal at the 4th World Taekwondo Culture Expo in Muju Korea in Taekwondo Poomsae .
• October 2010 - Master Abhishek Dubey was selected for the WTF KHU Training Programme for Coaches from India at the Kyung Hee University in S. Korea.

5th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship 2011 - India

The 5th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship is scheduled to take place from 28 to the 31st of January in Chennai, India . Its a proud moment for Indian taekwondo as the esteemed Taekwondo championship is being held in India . The 4 day event would have Poomsae and sparring as medal events. All the best wishes to the entire Indian team for the CW TKD C'ships on behalf of IKTA.

WTF KHU Graduation

Kyung Hee University , Worlds No 1 Taekwondo Graduate School

Master Abhishek Dubey successfully completed the WTF KHU Coaches Training Course at the Kyung Hee University. A comprehensive training programme held from 4th to 30th Oct at the suwon campus specialising on Poomsae, Sparring and demonstration skills. Lectures on taekwondo philosophy, Biomechanics of taekwondo and history of taekwondo gave all the instructors an oppurtunity to learn taekwondo as a Sport, martial Art and a Way of Life.

Master Abhishek Dubey selected for Instructors Course at the Kyung Hee University - S.Korea

Master Abhishek Dubey has been selected by the WTF( World Taekwondo Federation ) for the WTF KHU coaches training course at the Kyung Hee University - S. Korea. A month long course in Taekwondo at the Kyung Hee university is sponsored by the WTF and KHU to help its member national Association propogate Taekwondo in thier countries.Kyung Hee University is one of the most renowned Universities in Asia. A maximum of 20 coaches are selected out of the 191 affiliated countries of the WTF every year. The Training Programme will focus on Poomsae & demonstration skills.All successfull coaches would be awarded a graduation Diploma at the end of the course.

Ishee pardeshi & Master Abhishek Dubey with the WTF Secretary General Master Yang Jin Suk

Ishee, at the WTF Office ,being felicitated with her Best Athlete Award ,that she won at the Yeongcheon Open 1st International taekwondo Championship in S. Korea. Master Yang is the current WTF Secretary General. He has served as the Mayor of California -USA. A true Taekwondo person who has played a integral role in promoting Taekwondo worldwide.

Ishee Pardeshi with Legendary Master Jeong Kook Hyun

Ishee Pardeshi with 1988 Olympic games Gold Medalist & 4times World Champion, the legendary Master Jeong Kook Hyun at the 1st International Yeong Cheon Open International Taekwondo Championship in Korea. Master Jeong held the record of continuosly winning 4 World Championships back to back over a span of 8 years.His record was surpassed by Americas Steven lopez, who became the 1st player in the history of Taekwondo to win the World Championship 5 times in 2009. Master Jeong is a professor for Taekwondo at the KOREA NATIONAL SPORT UNIVERSITY.

ISHEE - LITTLE ROCK OF IKTA RULES THE TAEKWONDO WORLD

Ishee Pardeshi,IKTA's Little Rock,has achieved which most of us dreamt all our lives.Ishee won the Gold medal at the prestigious WTF sanctioned International Taekwondo championship - YEONGCHEON OPEN IN S.KOREA. Ishee has become the youngest player to represent India and win a gold medal in the Korean dominated sport.Ishee won 2 gold medals at the 4th World taekwondo Expo and Yeongcheon Open in s. Korea.She created a record by beating 5 koreans on her way to the ultimate glory of being the 1st player to win a gold medal at an International Taekwondo Championship in the Korean category. Ishee has been an inspiration for our country and has proved that Impossible is Nothing.Master Abhishek Dubey won a silver medal at the 4th World Taekwondo Expo in Muju, Korea. It was aproud moment for India and Taekwondo in India

Little Rocks rock at the National taekwondo championship

IKTA's Surabhi Arora & Ishee Pardeshi rocked at the 4th National Taekwondo Poomsae championship at Surat,Gujrat. Ishee & Surabhi won gold medals in their respective age categories and were the two gold medalists out of 3 from Maharashtra. It was a proud moment for our state and we wish these Little Rocks of our academy all the very best.Maharashtra also won the Team Championship Trophy in the Sub Junior event.Master Abhishek dubey won a bronze medal in the Individual Category - 1st seniors.

IKTA's Little Rocks & Team selected for the Maharashtra State team

IKTA's Star performers the Little Rocks - ( Ishee Pardeshi & Surabhi Arora ), along with team members Reheeshaa N & Esha Tiwari were selected in the Maharashtra State Taekwondo team. The team will represent the state at the 4th National Poomsae Taekwondo Championship in surat, Gujrat from 13th to 15th May. IKTA wishes all its player the best of wishes and are positive about thier positive results.
