Taekwondo Demonstartion at Fazlani International School, Mumbai






Indo Korean  Taekwondo Academy had yet another spectacular day of Taekwondo, as Fazlani International taekwondo students performed a sizzling Taekwondo display and promoted various aspects of modern day Taekwondo.The performance were given by Grade 1 to 5 students.The demonstration comprised of taekwondo basics, Self defense, Power & Teachnical Breaking, as well as Taekwondo Aerobics. Fazlani International has paid great emphasis in developing thiier students through various educational and sports programmes. one of the few International schools who have adopted taekwondo as a subject for their students and propagating real values of taekwondo . We thank Miss Mahera for her efforts in promoting taekwondo and the Sports Director - Mr Pawaskar for organizing the event.

Ishee bags Gold at the Gyeongi Do City Taekwondo championships at Yongin, S Korea





























Ishee Pardeshi does what she is best at, "WINNING ". Little rock of IKTA, bounced backed after an early exit at the korea Open in the semi finals. A week later after her loss at in the semi final , Ishee bagged a gold in the individual Poomsae category against a korean athlete in the final. Ishee played in the under 10 category. We thank Master Kim from Dowonkyuli poomsae team, Seoul, for his technical expertise and coaching for the past one month. Ishee still has a lot more to prove to ensure that the she sustains her performance in the coming years, and I am confident she will maintain her form, Says Coach Abhishek Dubey.

Indian Athletes fail to leave a mark at the Korea Open

Indian Taekwondo athletes were unable to leave a mark at the recently concluded korea Open International Taekwondo Championship in Gyeongju , Korea. The taekwondo Poomsae Team were overpowered by stronger teams like Uzbekistan, Thailand, Phillipines. India's Ishee Pardeshi who played in the Juniors category was placed 13th ,lost in the semi finals. Master Abhishek Dubey made it to the finals and was in the top 4 rankings till the final round.However was unable to maintain his place in the finals and dropped down to the 6th place. 'The competition at International level is getting tougher by day and we need to be training better than ever to consistently maintain our previous performances and be in the medal tally, says abhishek Dubey'

The 25th Foreign Masters Taekwondo Training Course, KUKKIWON

THE 25TH FOREIGNER TAEKWONDO MATERS TRAINING COURSE - KUKKIWON 2012












Master Abhishek Dubey recently completed the 25th Foreigners Taekwondo Master Training Course at the Kukkiwon, Seoul S.Korea. The Kukkiwon conducts this course for Masters , Instructors and grand masters from across the globe. One of the most respected courses in Taekwondo for nurturing future Taekwondo leaders and Masters was attended by 97 Taekwondo masters from all continents. The course was conducted at the KUKKIWON ( World taekwondo Headquarters ) from the the 31st July to the 5th August 2012. Practical as well as theorotical knowledge is imparted during the course by World Champions, Professors and renowned taekwondo Grandmasters from korea.The practical aspects consisted of Poomsae & Kyorugi. Lectures and theoretical knowledge on History of Taekwondo,Ritual of Taekwondo, First Aid, taekwondo Leadership Theories were imparted during the course.Master dubey says "  Kukkiwon has taken immense efforts through this course to train and develop masters throughout the globe. This course gave concrete concepts on teaching methodologies in all aspects of taekwondo. I am thankful to the KUKKIWON and Mr Mun Ko for providing me an opportunity to be a part of this learning and upgrading my knowledge and skills. "

Master Abhishek Dubey bags Bronze for India at the 6th world Taekwondo Culture Expo

Master Abhishek Dubey made India proud in Korea at the 6th World Taekwondo culture Expo championship in Muju, S.Korea.He won a bronze medals in the Men Senior 2 Category ( WTF Category ) . The medals were bagged in the the taekwondo poomsae event.

Master Kim Yun Kyeong In India

 
































Master Kim Yun Kyeong, a korean National and one of the most renowned kyorugi athletes of korea ,visited India recently. She was at IKTA and shared her knowledge with taekwondo practitioners at our academy. Master Kim, has been the Silver medalist at the 2006 World University championships in Spain. She has won many International Championshipsl like the German Open, Spanish Open as well as many major Korean National Championships.She graduated from the renowned KYUNG HEE University and is currently a professional Player with the Chuncheon city team. master Kim says " Indian athletes show a lot of passion  towards taekwondo, though technical skills will play an important role in thier fighting skills.
