Its a proud moment for India, Ishee Pardeshi of IKTA bagged Indias first ever Silver medal in the Cadet category - Poomsae at the 6th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship in Scotland 2014. The championship was organised by the Commonwealth taekwondo union & sanctioned by the Commonwealth games Federation. England took Gold and Australia / Scotland bagged bronze medals. Ishee scored 6.30 behind England athlete who scored 6.33. Its a great day for Indian taekwondo and IKTA will continue its quest to bring an Asian And World medal for India. India was lead at the Commonwealth by Master Abhishek Dubey as the National Coach who says ' This is just the begining , we need to word harder and faster to reach to our ultimate goal of bagging a medal athe world Championships and thus bring India presence at the World stage.

Kukkiwon President ,Grandmaster Man Soon Jung.
Kukkiwon newly elected Grandmaster Man Soon Jung as its new President on the 6th of February.He is a 9th Dan and has played a vital role in uplifting the image of taekwondo. Indo Korean Taekwondo Academy wishes Grandmaster Jung a very fruitful career in his new role and hope will continue to propogate taekwondo in his fullest capacity.

WTF International Coach Training Course - Sparring /Poomsae , S Korea
The WTF International Coach Traning Course recenly concluded at the Shinsung University in S Korea. The World taekwondo Federation Academy of the WTF, organised the Course for International Coaches in the Asian Continent.The World Taekwondo Federation is recognised by the IOC, International Olympic Comittee.The WTFA organised course was a unique experience for Coaches , covering topics like Leadership of Coaches, Sports Psychology , Competition rules at the Olympic Games and World championships by the WTF. Master Dubey from India a participant at the Course says " The WTFA has taken immense efforts to promote real values of Taekwondo through this course, it not only covered modern day Taekwondo Sport but the real Philosophy of taekwondo, which is the key to Taekwondo. I personally want to thank Grandmaster Yang, Chairman of WTFA for recommending me for this course, The knowledge attained at this course will be with me for the rest of my life as a Taekwondo person.
